The penultimate round of Digital Rally Series took place on the fast gravel stages in Poland.
Roland Biro on Ford Fiesta R5 takes the victory in Poland by a long distance from 2nd place which was occupied by portuguese Luis Moura on VW Polo R5. He finishes second overall on 3 minutes and 9 seconds behind Biro. Ricardo Santos on Ford Fiesta R5 finishes 3rd just 5 tenths of a second behind Moura.
Polish Przemek Rudski-Ford Fiesta wins his home race and becomes champion with one round to go. Romanian Rareș Fetean, also on Ford Fiesta R2, came second at 5 minutes and 4 seconds behind the leader and Lucian Pop-Peugeot 208 R2 closes the podium at 5 minutes and 48 seconds behind Rudski.
Bogdan Cărămidaru on VW Golf GTI wins at H2 Classics. Radu Tamaș-Ford Escort MK2 comes 2nd on 2 minutes and 11 seconds and Simao Pereira-Fiat 131 Abarth finished 3rd just one second behind second place driver.
Overall, Biro is the leader with 90 points. Santos moves up to 2nd with 66 points and Nobrega drops to 3rd just 3 points behind second place.
The final rally of this season has already started with the spectacular stages in Finland which are set to decide season 2 champions. The race will end on April 23.
