Brian Crossett wins the second round of this season, USA

The second rally of the season was held in the United States, specifically in state of New England. 66 teams started on the gravel stages.

 Brian Crossett in a Ford Fiesta R5 MKII wins the rally against Roland Biro-Ambrus in the same model with a difference of 32.2 seconds, followed by Monte Carlo winner Miguel Nobrega with 49.9 seconds from the leader.

In R2 class, polish driver Przemek Rudzki scores his second win of this season. It was followed by Esa Ahonen at 1 minute and 39 seconds behind and Robert Prepeliță at 2 minutes and 36 seconds. All of them used the same car, Ford Fiesta R2.

Another win for Simao Pereira at H2 Classics with his Fiat 131 Abarth Rally, Bogdan Cărămidaru in a Volkswagen Golf GTI finished second at 59.3 seconds and the podium was completed by Bogdan Moldovan in an Opel Kadett C GT/E at a distance of 1 minute and 49 seconds.

In the overall rankings, Miguel Nobrega is the leader with 43 points, followed closely by Roland Biro-Ambrus with 40 points and Ricardo Santos with 30 points.

The next rally has already started,  Germany and the rally closes on 9th April.. We return to the asphalt on tests where courage is tested and victory is decided according to the risks you take.
